Qualitype^®Abetter LIMS is a software solution which was conceptual designed to handle the huge flood of information. It supports the automation of work routines by the connection of laboratory equipment, the possibility to define workflows and the automatic examination of data for contaminations. Qualitype^®Abetter LIMS is conceived as multi-user system so it is able to grow with the requirements of the institute.

The modular built up and extendable software package Qualitype^®Abetter LIMS combines management and lab processes in a user-friendly solution.
Qualitype^®Abetter LIMS allows for example an extensive sample tracking with the help of barcodes. In addition, the data integrity is guaranteed by the logging of all individual operations (Audit Trail) and digital signatures. Also a devices and reagents management is supported. These functionalities fulfill together with a configurable quality assurance the requirements of the ISO 17025 and different recommendations of the ISFG.

Goal of the development of Qualitype^®Abetter LIMS
Qualitype^®Abetter LIMS was developed to support legal-medical labs by the coping of the steadily growing requirements. The complete documentation of all processes belongs to the sample receipt up to production of the expertise. Furthermore Qualitype^®Abetter LIMS contains the management of information from different departments as well as the biostatistical evaluation of the results.
