Batch Analysis
With batch examinations, you can conduct hundreds of parentage tests and sibling analyses at a time. You may also investigate samples of unknown origin.
There are two different kinds of batch analyses: Parentage tests and sibling analyses. Parentage tests compare parents or grandparents with children. Sibling analyses determine the probability that two persons have a certain degree of blood relationship.
Batch analyses are conducted with the help of pools that are then compare to each other. There are two kind of pools. Sibling analyses compare pools that both contain a number of single persons. The batch analysis forms all possible constellations when using always one person from the first and one from the second pool and determines the probabilities of different degrees of relationship.
Batch parentage tests compare a pool of children with a pool of families. The family pool contains persons that have a defined role in a family tree. Again the batch analysis form all possible constellation that is it insert every child in every family tree and calculates the probability of maternity or paternity fort he referring test.
