The free and web-based database solution ALLST*R provides allele frequency data for a great number of autosomal markers and populations.

ChrX-STR is a database-based webtool with free access to X-chromosomal STR frequency data and haplotype frequencies.

||| Trusted Cloud

Within the technology competition Trusted Cloud of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology Qualitype GmbH and its partners have been awarded as one of the leading 12 projects in the field of cloud computing. The project primarily targets medium-sized companies and public institutions.

||| Molecular Designed Biological Coating (MBC)

The research project "Development of a platform technology for the detection of genetic variations on the basis of novel biomolecular feature films and surface plasmon resonance (SPR biochip)" is part of the application project Molecular designed Biological Coating (MBC). As part of the BMBF program "Innovative Regional Growth Cores" Qualitype GmbH and its partners have been awarded as a location in the "Land of Ideas 2008". www.wachstumskern-mbc.de

The focus within the MekoTech network is on the development of measuring and communication systems in order to improve quality management across all stages of the food chain. The network involves established research facilities and companies in the areas of measurement engineering and information processing. ||| Q-PorkChains

Q-PorkChains aims the improvement of the quality of pig meat as an ongoing optimization of the whole supply chain in aspects of innovation, integration and sustainability. The platform is investigating beneficial insights in the subject areas of:

  • Customer needs
  • Operation-specific production systems
  • Management of the meat producing chain and its cross-linkage
  • Knowledge and technologies for product development in meat processing
  • Quality control across all stages of the meat producing chain

Within this platform an animal health monitoring database has been developed to monitore health of sows and piglets for the EGF (Erzeugergemeinschaft für Qualitätsferkel), among others.
